Hi Sean,
Owls are messengers. When I hear an owl hooting, I know the star people are near. And years ago, when I was having 2-3 visitations a week, if I heard an owl before bed I was certain I would see the star people during the night (and I did). I have seen owls during the visits as well, and I think they may have been screen memories (remembering cute little animals instead of aliens). I have heard many contactees/alien abductees talk about seeing owls during their visits.

Some indigenous cultures revere the owl for its supernatural nature, and some cultures avoid the owl because of its power.

The owl that you saw in your window made such an impact on you that you still remember it...what was it about that owl that made it so memorable?

Many Blessings, Bonnie

Hi Bonnie

the owl in fact is quite dominant in my youth at the abode i used to live where the "pygama" incidents occured. i would reguarly hear the owl in the night, in fact i would hear it practicly every night. there were other sounds that i used to hear to. to tell the truth it was probably this time in my life that i became fasinated by the ufo enigma, i remember watching the news when the first reporst came in of the ufo in new zealand that was caught on camera by a tv crew. back to the owl, i dont think that there was anything special about this owl accept that it was at my bedroom window looking back at me.

When I joined earlier today, I mentioned owls in my profile but had to delete because too many words. I said that my kids treat me to owl knicknacks every once in awhile buecause they know I have a "thing" for them.

About the time I became aware that I had experienced a genuine time-loss experience, a full ten years after, I also was taken with some cheap Walmart-type pop art that was briefly popular. It had a strange attraction to me that I couldn't place--being what it was. This was in about 1974-5. The one we had was of a couple of prints of young boy and a girl. There were done in what today is called that Japanes cartoon style, anime(?) with large eyes. I remember getting rid of them at one point with a bit of vengence. At some point after that, I guess I transferred my attrachment to owls and so it has remained.

In other (shorter) words, it was the eyes that got to me and which I equate with the eyes of the ETs of which I could not recall under hypnosis by the famous Dr. Leo Sprinkle.

Since owls universally present big, piercing eyes and hint of many mysteries, I'm assuming that is why some of us chose them as our talisman and/or were given that connection. We could so far as to say those are subconscious triggers to keep up along the prescribed path.

That said, it would be interesting to know how many absuctees favor owls for some unknown reason AND believe that they have been given tasks to complete?

Hi Geezer,
he he. what a name.
I went and changed the profile settings so you can add more text now if you'd like.

Yes, there are many of us contactees/abductees who have a thing for owls. It's really a metaphysical connection. I have felt very good about owls before, always knowing that the star people were near.... But there have been times when the owl was used as a screen memory to disguise the aliens' (bad guys') real faces. I don't like those kinds of owls.

Yes, the large-eyed anime characters really do resemble alien eyes and owl eyes. And I've also noticed a lot of the dolls being sold in the USA now have larger eyes than normal. I believe it is psychological conditioning for the general public to get more accustomed to seeing large black eyes and accepting them as normal.

And yes, I agree that the owl is used as a subconscious trigger.

I think all contactees feel they have a mission to complete. That would be another great topic post, and so would your hypnosis session with Dr. Leo Sprinkle, if you feel like sharing!

Many Blessings, Bonnie

Hi Sean,
Yep, you know things are weird when there's an owl staring in your bedroom window at you. Was this in the middle of the night? And was it connected to a visitation?

What other kind of sounds did you hear?

Many Blessings, Bonnie

Much of my experiences has an Owl in it. Once in NC while I was in the USCG, the watchstander mentioned to me that a HUGE great horned Owl had landed on the foc'sle stantion and told me to come see him. I went out and sure enough, there it was, a massive Owl. Now, here it gets strange, both of us saw that Owl. Later in my career, I saw that same guy and again, the owls. He's now one of my best friends and we speak often due to our experiences. When I was just a small child, an owl swooped in front of the car that was being driven by my Uncle and they mentioned that it was strange for one to just come down in front of the car in such a manner. In 07', when I was going though a very hard time in my life, again...the Owl. A Snowy Owl swooped at my head as I was coming out of my house...for no apparent reason. It was at night and after he did that he simply went to a telephone pole and sat there. I do not like witchcraft. I do not like the harry potter garbage in it's entirety. I do not like twilight (a girl and her choice between necrophilia and bestiality, sad AND true). So, I'm weary of the Owl symbols. I know that the federal reserve decided to make an owl just below the number 1 on the dollar bill and the capitol is entirely in the shape of the owl when viewed from above. In many cultures it is well known to be a symbol of the devil, Satan and in others it's simply a messenger. The new testement doesn't mention it, nor does Jesus Christ talk about Owls so I'm sort still in "Not sure" mode concerning it. They have been around me, in unexplainable ways my entire life and I would also really love a deffinate answer one way or the other to ignore or heed.
I have also had a falcon fly over me recently and let out a huge cry as it flew over me. The people that saw it all thought it was strange...I thought it was strange, too.

The Owls have been around me on occasions than I've noted here.

Love,
Ray

I felt compelled to comment in regards to the last response on this thread. Some of it i found utterly ridiculous. The 'Twilight' and 'Harry Potter' books are just FICTION. They're not real, so the only way they could be upsetting you is if you let what they're about get to you. No one's asking you to believe in it at all. If you don't believe in it, it's not going to hurt you. The only way it will is if you convince yourself it will. If you want to obsess about 'Twilight' being solely about immoral behavior, I'd say someone has too much time on their hands looking for people to condemn. No one is holding a gun to your head demanding you believe in those books of fiction. But please dont' go around demanding people burn those books just because you don't like them.
A lot of people think alien abduction is nothing but fiction, and yet people here believe it. Do you get mad when people accuse you of being a liar or making things up about abduction? I was also very hurt with the idea you think witchcraft is 'evil' and people who practice it are sick. What if there are member here who DO claim witchcraft as their faith and read the mean, insensitive comments made about it?
Some people may object to someone claiming to have been abducted by aliens and also be devoutly religious, because in their minds, those two subjects CANNOT coexist together. UFOs/paranormal/occult are considered taboo to many Christians, and not to be touched, yet I've come across a lot of Christians combining biblical texts with aliens--is that evil?
I am not a Christian, nor do I ever plan to become one, and I do take issue with my personal beliefs being called 'evil'. I keep my beliefs to myself and I don't force anyone to accept them. I'd ask them to respect mine as I do theirs, and that's it.
