These are small unexplained scabs that my boyfriend found in the centre of my lower back, over my spine. At first it looked like a bruise so I just left it alone but my boyfriend looked at it again a couple of days later and it looked like this. What do you think?

Ps. I later found out that my boyfriends mum also has these marks on her knee.

That is an unusual grouping of scabs...strange formation. If your boyfriend's mom had the same mark, then there is definitely something going on! You might want to try and remember anything you can from the time period when you got them. Any unusual happenings at all?

This is actually just a scab from a mild scrape I get them sometimes on my knees or shins, but they can turn up anywhere you might accidentally scrape your skin somehow. You could have easily leaned up against something too hard or scraped yourself itching your back. It's nothing to worry about!

Yes, it could simply be a group of scabs from getting scraped, but it is odd that someone else in the family has the same marks at the same time.
